We wake up to the sound of the animals — the horses moving in the meadow, the little donkeys starting their morning, the chickens and geese filling the yard with life.
This isn't a backdrop. It's our life. We're outdoor people. We love the quiet, the landscape, the ordinary that's actually quite special once you stop to notice it.
THE HOUSE —
Built after our own heart.
This house is exactly as we always wanted it. Chosen with care, furnished with attention, with a clear choice for simplicity. Large windows because the outside is always welcome in. Natural materials because they age beautifully. Rest, not as an afterthought, but as a starting point.
It stands in Kerniel, a hamlet in the soft hillside of Haspengouw. Not by chance. This landscape chose us just as much as we chose it.

DOMINIQUE —
Woman of simplicity .
Next to the suite is her ceramics studio. There, day after day, objects with a story take shape. Objects to use in daily life, not put on display.
For more than thirteen years, she's been baking her own sourdough bread. Slow, nourishing, full of life. That she now teaches workshops on it is no coincidence — she loves sharing what she knows, quietly and without fuss.
Healthy eating isn't a trend to her, but a way of caring — for her body, for the people she loves, for everyone who joins her at the table.
Alongside all this, she spends much of her time training her young mare. That relationship means more to her than riding alone — it's a mirror. Two beings learning to know each other, to trust each other, growing together. Patience, attention, and honesty. Exactly the values you'll find in everything she makes.
MARCO —
The silent force behind the place.
Marco loves the outdoor life, the animals, things that feel right.
He looks after the house, the terrace, the garden and the meadows, and takes care of the animals day after day. When you arrive, everything is in order. That's his way of welcoming you.
But Marco is also someone who truly enjoys life. You'll find him just as easily on horseback, at the pétanque court, behind the barbecue, or with a good glass of wine in hand. Someone who knows how to enjoy the moment — and loves sharing that with others.
